CBD and Parkinson’s: A personal account
The CBD journey has started for a dear friend with Parkinson’s. The first drop of ENDOCA Hemp Oil containing 1500mg CBD at a 15% strength was taken last Saturday. The dose consisted of 1x 5mg drop 3 times a day for the first week to be built up to 2 drops 3 times a day in the second week and so on until we get to the perfect dose. (At this point starting an Oil Diary would be particularly interesting). An important factor with CBD is that the patient needs to find their correct dose. The lower the dose that works, the more effective and efficient the CBD.
Having started only five days ago, I have seen high spirits and low ones. Sleeping at night for more than 2-3 hours at a time seems complicated, though there were a couple of long nights recently. Eating habits are up and down, but more up than down; I have noticed big sugar cravings! As far as mood goes, it seems much on the up and mobility better too, though today, day 5, was more challenging than the last few. Let’s see what the months ahead have in store?
I have a few documents on the subject from the International Cannabis and Cannabinoid Institute (ICCI) if anyone is interested?
Our information is coming to us from Dr. Ethan Russo at the ICCI. ONE IN A MILLION, thank you.
